Roost is an installation of ten life sized Indian flying foxes (the world’s largest bat). Hung at eye level, viewers are confronted by various bats staring them in the eye, and are forced to move around the bats, weaving their way through the installation. Each bat is life size with a head-body length of 12" (24" from toes to nose) and a 6' wingspan made of polymer clay, fake fur, rubber, acrylic paint, wire, glass eyes, and foam. 2009
